Basketball, Track & Field On Sideliners Agenda

Join host Adam Jaksa on 98.5-FM or live at Hunter's Ale House
MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – Sideliners, the radio show that takes fans inside Central Michigan athletics, is scheduled for Thursday at 6 p.m.
The weekly radio show, hosted by Adam Jaksa, airs on WUPS 98.5-FM and originates from Hunter's Ale House in Mount Pleasant. The public is welcome to attend in person and take the opportunity to mingle with Chippewa coaches and players.
Central Michigan men's basketball coach Keno Davis, women's basketball coach Sue Guevara, and director of track & field/cross country Jennifer Swieton are scheduled to join Jaksa on Thursday.
Also scheduled to join the show are Reyna Frost and Presley Hudson of the women's basketball team, David DiLeo of the men's basketball team, and Nadia Williams of the track and field team.
Williams, a junior, broke the women's indoor program record in the long jump on Friday at CMU's Jack Skoog Open.
The CMU men's basketball team improved to 14-3, 3-1 Mid-American Conference on Tuesday with a 78-69 victory at Northern Illinois. The Chippewas play host to Ball State on Saturday (4:30 p.m.) at McGuirk Arena.
The CMU women's basketball team continued its early season dominance of the MAC last week with convincing victories at Ohio and at Northern Illinois.
The Chippewas, who are scheduled to play host to Miami (Ohio) on Wednesday night, are 12-3, 3-0 MAC. They are one of two unbeaten teams in MAC play. The other is Kent State, and the Chippewas visit the Golden Flashes on Saturday (5 p.m.).
The Chippewa women are ranked fourth in the CollegeInsider.com Mid-Major Top 25 poll, and are receiving votes in both the Associated Press and USA Today/Women's Basketball Coaches Association national polls.
