Moomey Named Chippewa Athletic Fund Director

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – Drew Moomey has been named the Director of the Chippewa Athletic Fund, Senior Associate Athletic Director of Revenue DJ Volko announced today.
"We're very happy to have Drew Moomey on board and we welcome him as a member of the Chippewa family," Volko said. "He's ambitious and brings a high level of enthusiasm. I am certain that our stakeholders will find him personable and engaging and will enjoy getting to know him."
As the director of the CAF, Moomey will work toward the organization's annual fundraising goals through the building and maintenance of relationships with donors, alumni, community members, and head coaches.
Moomey earned a Bachelor of Applied Arts degree from CMU in 2013. He majored in recreation, parks and leisure service administration.
Moomey has served as a corporate account executive with the Midland-based Great Lakes Loons baseball club and has worked as a director of ticket sales and as an athletic complex event coordinator in minor league baseball and at Saginaw Valley State University.
