Three Athletic Trainers Join CMU Athletics

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – Central Michigan Athletics has welcomed athletic trainers Andrea Chilcote, Stephen Creamer and Ryan Moreau.
Chilcote will serve with the women's basketball program; Creamer will serve with the gymnastics program; and Moreau with the men's basketball program.
• Chilcote, a Muskegon native, has worked as an assistant athletic trainer since 2014 at Illinois-Chicago, Texas Rio Grande Valley, and at Wayne State. She worked at Wayne State with the Warriors' volleyball and softball teams.
Chilcote earned a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in athletic training from Grand Valley State in 2012 and her Master of Science in sports administration in 2015 from Eastern Illinois, where she worked as an athletic trainer with the rugby, soccer, tennis and swimming programs.
• Moreau is a Central Michigan grad who earned his master's degree in health and human movement with an emphasis in sports medicine from Utah State. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in athletic training/sports medicine from CMU.
A native of Ontonagon in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, Moreau served for the past three years as an assistant athletic trainer at Eastern Washington, where he was the primary athletic trainer for the men's basketball and women's golf teams. He served as a graduate assistant at Utah State and completed an internship at Binghamton.
• Creamer served for the past three seasons at Brown, working with the gymnastics, cross country and track and field programs. He earned a Master of Science degree at Oregon, where he worked with the football and track and field programs as well as in the university's club sports program.
He earned his Bachelor of Science with a major in athletic training from Springfield (Mass.) College.
