Women’s Basketball hosts Miami (Ohio) on Wednesday at 7 p.m., Wrestling hosts Michigan State on Friday at 7 p.m., Men’s Basketball hosts Ohio on Saturday at 2 p.m.
MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich.—Three Central Michigan sports host events at McGuirk Arena, two sports open their 2023 spring seasons and eight sports are in action this week.
Women's Basketball hosts Miami (Ohio) on Wednesday, Wrestling hosts Michigan State on Friday night, and Men's Basketball hosts Ohio on Saturday at 2 p.m.
Baseball and Softball open their seasons in Texas and Florida respectively. Lacrosse plays its second and third contests of the year at Lindenwood on Tuesday and at Notre Dame on Sunday. Track and Field will compete in Ann Arbor on Friday.

MEN'S BASKETBALL
The Chippewas get back on the road for a Tuesday game at Bowling Green at 7 p.m., then return home to take on Ohio on Saturday at 2 p.m. at McGuirk Arena.
WOMEN'S BASKETBALL
Central Michigan hosts Miami (Ohio) on Wednesday at 7 p.m., then hits the road for a 1 p.m. game at Ohio.
GYMNASTICS
Gymnastics will look to keep its four-meet win streak intact with a Sunday, Feb. 19 matchup at MAC rival Western Michigan.
WRESTLING
Wrestling has a big week in-state as the Chippewas host Michigan State on Friday at 7 p.m., then travel to Ann Arbor to take on Michigan on Sunday at 5 p.m.
TRACK & FIELD
Central Michigan Track & Field will compete at the Silverston Invitational on Friday in Ann Arbor, Mich. The event runs all day.
LACROSSE
Coming off a 15-12 season-opening win over California, Central Michigan plays its second game in Missouri when it meets Lindenwood on Tuesday at 3 p.m. ET/2 p.m. CT. On Sunday, the Chippewas play at Notre Dame in a game beginning at 3 p.m.
SOFTBALL
Softball opens its 2023 season at the University of Florida Tournament in Gainesville, Fla. The Chippewas take on Delaware State on Friday at 3:30 p.m., Connecticut on Saturday at 3:30 p.m., Delaware State again on Saturday at 6 p.m., then host and No. 5 ranked Florida on Sunday at 11:30 a.m.
BASEBALL
Baseball opens its 2023 season with a three-game series at Baylor in Waco, Texas. The Chippewas play at 4 p.m. on Friday, 3 p.m. on Saturday, and 2 p.m. on Sunday.
