
Central Michigan Announces Entire 2025-26 Men's Basketball Schedule

Schedule features 13 home games; MAC announces 18-game men’s basketball league schedule; MAC schedule features two games apiece against Western Michigan, Eastern Michigan, Akron, Ball State, Kent State, and Northern Illinois.
MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich.—Featuring a 13-game home schedule, an 18-game conference schedule, and non-conference games at Wisconsin and Marquette, Central Michigan announced its entire 2025-26 men's basketball schedule on Thursday. Tipoff times, television appearances, and broadcast dates will be announced later. Schedule and dates are subject to change due to television decisions.
"We have had a great summer and are excited to start practice in preparation for the season," Central Michigan Head Coach Andy Bronkema said. "With the players we've brought in, we are excited to get the season started."
Non-conference home games include the season opener vs. Appalachian State in the MAC-SBC Challenge (Monday, Nov. 3), vs. Northern Kentucky (Thursday, Nov. 20), vs. Adrian (Tuesday, Nov. 25), and vs. Olivet (Wednesday, Dec. 17). MAC home league games include contests vs. Ohio (Saturday, Dec. 30), Toledo (Saturday, Jan. 3), Kent State (Saturday, Jan. 10), Ball State (Tuesday, Jan. 20), Eastern Michigan (Tuesday, Jan. 27), Bowling Green (Saturday, Jan. 31), Northern Illinois (Saturday, Feb. 14), Western Michigan (Saturday, Feb. 21), and Akron (Tuesday, March 3).
The Chippewas will host Saginaw Valley State in an exhibition game on Friday, Oct. 24 at 7 p.m.
Non-conference road games will be played at Bradley (Saturday, Nov. 8), two neutral site games in St. Petersburg, Fla. (Eckerd College) as part of the Florida MTE on Thursday, Nov. 13 and Friday, Nov. 14, at Marquette (Saturday, Nov. 22), at Loyola-Chicago (Tuesday, Dec. 2), at St. Louis (Sunday, Dec. 7), at Stony Brook (Saturday, Dec. 13), and at Wisconsin (Monday, Dec. 22).
An opponent has yet to be scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 7 as the Chippewas will travel to a Sun Belt Conference foe for their second yearly MAC-SBC Challenge contest.
Scheduled road MAC road games are at Northern Illinois (Saturday, Dec. 20), at Akron (Tuesday, Jan. 6), at Miami, Ohio (Saturday, Jan. 13), at Western Michigan (Saturday, Jan. 24), at Massachusetts (Tuesday, Feb. 3), at Eastern Michigan (Tuesday, Feb. 17), at Kent State (Tuesday, Feb. 24), at Buffalo (Saturday, Feb. 28), and at Ball State (Friday, March 6).
The Mid-American Conference Championship is slated for Thursday, March 12-Saturday, March 14 at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland, Ohio.
