Ashley Goh Returns to Women's Golf Program as Grad Assistant

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – One of the very best golfers in Central Michigan history has returned to the program.
Ashley Goh, who played at CMU from 2020-24, has been named a graduate assistant by coach Ryan Williams.
"We are very excited to bring Ashley back to Mount Pleasant as a graduate assistant coach," said Williams, who is entering his fifth season in charge of the program. "Ashley had the best four-year career in program history as a player here, and she's bringing coaching experience with her and she is a great person. Her technical expertise will help her work individually with our players to impact their development.
"Her strategic wisdom will impact our team's tournament game plans and performance. She is a leader and a great golf mind. We are lucky that she is back with us and she will undoubtedly make a major impact on our program."
Goh owns or shares every program scoring record and also holds the program record with three top-10 finishes in the Mid-American Conference Championships including a fourth in 2023, the best by a Chippewa. Her 15 career top-10 finishes are the most in program history and she twice was named All-MAC and three times earned Academic All-MAC honors.
Goh, a native of Malaysia, earned a bachelor of arts degree with a major in interior design with an art minor and is pursuing a master of science in administration.
The Chippewas open the 2026-27 season with their annual A-Ga-Ming Invitational at A-Ga-Ming Resort in Kewadin over Labor Day Weekend.
