On this episode, Adam and Coach begin the show touching on the recent announcement that Zyzelewski Family Director of Athletics Michael Alford will be leaving CMU at the end of August. Alford will take over as the new CEO of Seminole Boosters, the fundraising organization for Florida State Athletics, in early September. Coach Mac talks about his relationship with Michael and all of the great things he has done for the University during his three years in Mount Pleasant. They also touch on Troy Brown and Kobe Lewis earning spots on national award watch lists announced this week. Later in the show, the two are joined by Bill and Carla Kanine(18:00) to talk about their love for CMU and the mid-Michigan area. Both are CMU alums with a long history of giving back to the university. Topics covered include Bill's time on the CMU Board of Trustees, hosting the coaching staff at their home prior to the season, and much more.
