Taylor Larson joined the Central Michigan University Athletics Department in 2009 as a volunteer assistant in strength and conditioning, and has since worked his way up to Assistant Director of Strength and Conditioning. He has helped numerous student-athletes maximize their athletic potential during that time. He is primarily responsible for basketball, wrestling, track and field, field hockey, softball and cross country, and he assists with football. With his assistance 28 student-athletes have earned All-MAC First-Team honors, seven have become All-Americans, and two have earned NSCA Strength and Conditioning All-American honors.
After joining the program as a volunteer assistant in 2009, he was soon hired as a graduate assistant and then an assistant coach.
Larson graduated from Central Michigan in 2011 with a Master of Arts Degree in Physical Education. He earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology from Michigan State in 2007.
He resides in Mount Pleasant with his wife Megan. He is originally from Midland, Mich.
