Track Duo Garner CMU Scholar-Athlete Accolades

Central Michigan University has selected Natasha Reynolds (track and field) and Nicholas Stout (track and field) as CMU Scholar-Athletes of the Week. Candidates for CMU Scholar-Athletes of the Week must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher and are selected based on athletic performance the previous week.Here are this week's honorees and their credentials:

Reynolds helped the Central Michigan University women's track and field team to a second-place finish at the Indiana University Relays last weekend. The thrower tossed the javelin 147-1/2 to take first place and qualified for the NCAA regional meet for the second year in a row.

Stout placed in two events as the CMU men's track and field team finished in second place at the Indiana University Relays last weekend. Stout was the 400m hurdle event champion with a time of 53.58 and also took third in the 110m hurdles with a 14.69 effort.
