Athletics Announces New Hiring

MOUNT PLEASANT-Central Michigan University athletics director Herb Deromedi announced the hiring of Keith Edmonds as assistant director of facilities and game management.
Edmonds has worked with game and event management since his freshman year at CMU. He also served as an intern in the Indoor Athletic Complex for seven months to fulfill graduation requirements for the sport studies program.
"I was here when the IAC opened and enjoy having various duties and working with several different members of the staff," said Edmonds. "This is a great start for me in the challenging field of intercollegiate athletics."
Edmonds will serve as the primary contact for soccer and softball game management. He will also be invoved with the daily operations of the IAC as well as game set-up for basketball, football, volleyball, gymnastics, and track.
Edmonds replaces James Martin, who was recently named ticket manager after serving as the assistant director of facilites and game management for one year.
