Moll and Perlberg Named CMU Scholar-Athletes of the Week

Central Michigan University has selected Cami Moll (cross country) and Tristen Perlberg (cross country) as CMU Scholar-Athletes of the Week. Candidates for CMU Scholar-Athletes of the Week must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher and are selected based on athletic performance the previous week. Cami Moll led the Chippewas at the Mid-American Conference cross country championships last weekend. She was a second-team All-MAC honoree with an 11th-place finish. Moll ran the 5k course in 18:01, her best 5k time this season. That is the second time Moll was named All-MAC. She also was a second-team designee in 2000.

Tristen was named All-MAC for the second straight year as he led the Chippewas in winning their second straight Mid-American Conference cross country title. The first-team designee ran the 8k course in 24:16, finishing third overall.
