A season of Saturday home football games allows for an extended free Maroon and Gold Concert Series Presented by the U.S. Army and five games of pregame fun in Tailgate Village.The Fabiano Brothers Tailgate Village, a way for CMU football fans to entertain friends and guests under a furnished tent with entertainment, food and tickets, will again be located by the ponds between Kelly/Shorts Stadium and Broomfield Road. Tents are arranged to allow a walk-through experience for all fans, and each of the first five home games when Tailgate Village is set up will include the free Maroon and Gold Concert Series Presented by the U.S. Army open to all fans. Concerts begin three hours before kickoff.
Tailgate Village packages are the best way for groups to have a private party before a CMU football game. Packages include tickets, parking and food. Adult guests will have access to the Fabiano Beer Garden. Packages can be customized to any group with more than 25 guests. September 8 vs. Kansas & October 6 vs. Buffalo (Homecoming) - Jedi Mind Trip
Jedi Mind Trip formed in 1996 and plays a heavy dose of classic rock in the Great Lakes Bay Region area and in August play at Mount Pleasant at Hunter's Ale House or the Soaring Eagle Casino. Group founder and lead vocalist Dan Ardouin remains the focal point of the band.

October 13 vs. Ball State - Derek Winter Band

The Derek Winter Band was formed from some of the finest musical talent in Michigan. October 20 vs. Western Michigan - Paddlebots
The Paddlebots are a progressive soul-pop group that formed in Mount Pleasant and frequently played - and still often play - at The Cabin and other Mount Pleasant venues.
