Chippewa Athletes
Student-athletes at Central Michigan University are given an incomparable experience during their time on-campus as a Chippewa! Located in the middle of Michigan - in the special town of Mount Pleasant, student-athletes join a community of individuals learning to IGNITE, together as a team. As  one of thirteen Division-I Institution's without a Major Violation on record, a culture of compliance has been abundantly instilled at each level of our Athletic Department. Current Chippewas are expected to comply with all institutional, conference, and NCAA rules and regulations.Â

Additionally, the CMU Student-Athlete Handbook outlines all pertinent information to the Chippewas Student-Athlete experience. The handbook is distributed to student-athletes at the beginning of each academic year and may be accessed digitally via ARMS.Â

Chippewas Student-Athletes
Chippewas Student-Athletes utilize the academic services program  Retain to request an academic tutor, track progress on study hall hours, schedule meetings with an athletic academic advisor, etc.
All student-athlete forms, complimentary ticket requests, athletic activity schedules, etc. are accessible via ARMS Software.  Chippewas may utilize their Global ID credentials to login to the system.
The  NCAA website provides informational resources, quick reference guides, educational initiatives, scholarship programs, career planning efforts, etc. for constituent review and reference.Â
