- CMU Athletics goal is to prepare leaders for today and tomorrow by teaching student-athletes the concept of high impact leadership both personally and professionally through workshops, curriculum, and conferences to expose student-athletes to leadership in action.
- Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC):Â Provide opportunities for growth by involving student-athletes in the overall organization, administration, implementation, and evaluation of the intercollegiate athletics program
- Leadership Series:Â Monthly opportunities to enhance leadership competencies and abilities in the form of workshops, lectures, and industry leading guest speakers
- Athletic Director Leadership Council:Â Two selected student-athletes from every varsity team will meet with the Athletic Director to discuss current landscape of the department and teams as well as a variety of leadership topics
- Leadership Retreats:Â Two day immersive leadership commitment that provides student-athletes with the leadership skills, strategies, and insights they need to help your athletic department succeed on the playing fields, in the classroom, on campus, and in the community
- Coach of Champions:Â Provides a platform for coaches to meet student-athletes from different sports as they share their personal journeys, leadership skills, life lessons, and keys to success.
