Ben Lang joined the Central Michigan staff in June, 2021 and serves as the director of player personnel under Tony Barbee.
Lang came to Central Michigan from DePaul, where he served as head student manager for the Blue Demon men's basketball program since August, 2018.
Lang also gained experience over the past three years as a basketball trainer at Ground Zero in Chicago. There, he trained NBA prospects and helped facilitate offseason workouts for current NBA and international professionals.
In 2019, Lang founded and then acted as president and coach of the DePaul University Club Basketball program. He also served as an AAU coach for All In Athletics (2019-20) and as a coach at the Doug Bruno Basketball Camp (2019).
A native of Seattle, Wash., Lang holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in exercise science from DePaul University.
