Brendan Durivage joined Central Michigan Head Coach Tony Barbee’s staff in June 2024 as its Director of Player Personnel/Video Coordinator. DuRivage’s main responsibilities at CMU include player development, video editing, opponent scouting, and statistics and analysis management.
Prior to Central Michigan, DuRivage assisted with multiple Michigan AAU basketball organizations while attending Michigan State University as an undergraduate student. In the summer of 2019, he worked as a voluntary coach for the REACH Legends, a longtime championship AAU organization based out of Detroit, Mich. In the summers of 2022 and 2023, he served as a special assistant for the D Rice Elite 16U team that is also based out of Detroit. During his youth, DuRivage trained under and played for CMU basketball Hall of Famer and former Detroit Piston Ben Kelso for four years.
A Commerce, Mich. native, DuRivage earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Michigan State in 2023. He is currently pursuing his master’s degree in sports management from Central Michigan.
