Central Michigan graduate Andrew Gerber returned to his alma mater in September 2021 as the assistant athletic director for multimedia services.

Gerber came to CMU from Dow Chemical in Midland, where he worked in graphics and as a studio tech, creating graphic content and managing webinars and studio production.

Before joining Dow Chemical, Gerber served as director of athletic media productions at Miami (Ohio) where he produced ESPN3/ESPN+ broadcasts, created in-house and social media content, and recorded and edited highlights for the department's 16 varsity sports.

Gerber worked as a student assistant in multimedia in CMU Athletics as an undergrad. He earned his degree in 2017 from Central Michigan University with a major in broadcast and cinematic arts and a minor in cinema study.
