Andrew Lang begins his first year as a member of the Central Michigan football staff as its Director of Football Equipment.

Lang joins the Central Michigan athletics department after spending the last three seasons as the assistant equipment manager at Army West Point (2022-25), where he worked closely with the Black Knights men’s basketball and football programs.

He has also served equipment internships with the Cleveland Browns (2021-22), at Georgia Tech (2000-21), Miami Heat (2019-20) and at Miami (Fla.) (2019).

A Miami, Fla. native, Lang earned his bachelor’s degree in Sports and Fitness Administration/Management from the University of Miami (Fla.) in 2018. He worked as a part-time equipment intern in 2019 and spent three years as a student equipment manager from 2016-18.
