Christian Maloney joined the Central Michigan Athletic Department in September 2023 as its assistant director of student-athlete services.
Prior to joining CMU, Maloney served as the athletic director and boys basketball coach at Coleman High School in 2022-23 . He worked as an assistant basketball coach at Alma College in 2021-22 and was head junior varsity basketball coach, middle school football coach, and athletic director intern at his alma mater, Sacred Heart Academy, in Mount Pleasant.
Maloney graduated from Central Michigan in 2021 with a bachelor's degree in sport management. He earned a Master of Business Administration from CMU in 2023.Â
A Mount Pleasant, Mich. native, Maloney has lived in Germany, Kentucky, Michigan, Alaska, and Virginia.
