Dr. Megan Manierski is a part of MyMichigan Health's comprehensive sports medicine team and is in her first year as Central Michigan Athletics' Sports Psychologist.
Manierski arrives at Central Michigan after spending the previous two years as a group coordinator and psychologist at the Auburn University Student Counseling & Psychological Services Center (2022-24), where she oversaw the implementation of the group therapy program, completed group screenings, and provided bi-weekly short term sessions for individuals. She also worked as a pre-doctoral intern.
Prior to her stint at Auburn and as a graduate student, Manierski worked in various psychology roles in the New York City area, including with Seton Hall Athletics (2020-21), where she gained valuable experience working with student-athletes, the Zucker Hillside Hospital in Glen Oaks, N.Y. (2021-22), Stony Brook Mind-Body Clinical Research Center (2021-22), Kawameeh Middle School in Union Township, N.J. (2019-21), and at the Rutgers University Center for Psychological Services (2019-21). She also trained at the Rutgers University GSAPP Performance Psychology Center (GPPC) and gained extensive research experience at Rutgers.
AÂ 2018 graduate of Adephi University in Garden City, N.Y., Manierski graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a Child and Family Studies minor. A former student-athlete, Manierski competed on the Adelphi volleyball team. She went on to earn a Master of Psychology (2021) and Doctor of Psychology (2023) degrees from Rutgers University.
Manierski is a licensed psychologist in Michigan and is a member of the National Register for Health Service Psychologists.
