George Young has coached gymnastics since 1980 starting at the age of 16, he is the owner and head coach of Mid Michigan Gymnastics U.S.A. Since opening Mid Michigan Gymnastics U.S.A. in Freeland, MI. in September of 1998 his club has produced many State Champions, many Regional qualifiers Regional champions and several boys & girls 9/10 National Championship qualifiers as well as attending National Tops testing, Tops National camps, Hopes training camps and competitions. George is a camp clinician at summer camps in Central Florida and throughout the United States, also for many years at our Region 5 Hot shot, Forward Progress, and Super Camps. George resides in Standish and his hobbies include golf, hunting, fishing and being outdoors.
