Hailie Moore returned to Central Michigan to begin her collegiate coaching career in August 2026 to contribute to the inaugural campaign under Head Coach Joseph Manna.

The Spring, Texas-native was a captain and defensive anchor for Chippewa Lacrosse from 2020-24, earning All-Mid-American Conference first team honors in 2023.

Student-Athlete Bio

Central Michigan Lacrosse went to back-to-back NCAA tournaments in 2022 and 2023 with Moore leading the defense for the Chippewas. CMU won four total MAC Championships (regular season and/or tournament) from 2022-24.

At the time of her hire, two years removed from her playing career, Moore still held the single-game record of six caused turnovers (April 26, 2023 vs. Eastern Michigan), ranked fourth all-time in career (61) and single-season (26) caused turnovers and ninth in career ground balls (83).

Moore graduated from CMU with a bachelor’s in psychology and disability studies in 2024, then collected a graduate certificate in leadership.

In the time between graduation and her return, Moore offered herself to missionary work with Cru for two years in the Middle East. She coordinated student development events, mentored students in personal development and spiritual growth and operated team travel and social media.

Throughout her playing career, Moore also provided coaching services through CMU Lacrosse Camps and other opportunities for middle and high school-aged athletes.
