Jasper Gallagher was named a graduate assistant in the CMU Athletic Communications office in July, 2025 and took on a primary communications contact role for Chippewa Field Hockey, Cross Country and Track & Field, assisting with CMU Men's Basketball and Baseball.Â
He graduated magna cum laude from Central Michigan University with a bachelor of science in statistics, with a minor in sport management in May, 2025 and will pursue a master of science in applied statistics.
Gallagher spent nearly all of his undergraduate as a member of the student communications staff, working predominantly on the statistics crews for football, men's and women's basketball, volleyball, baseball, softball, lacrosse, field hockey and soccer. He was the primary communications contact for men's golf in 2024-25 and the secondary for field hockey in 2023.
He was a public relations intern for the Detroit Lions for both the 2022 and 2023 campaigns.
The Saginaw, Mich.-native graduated from Heritage High School in 2021 having competed in baseball and tennis. He also played trumpet as a three-year member of Heritage's marching band.
