Jordan Walker joined the Central Michigan Women’s Basketball staff for the 2025-26 season, beginning her third season of full-time coaching with the Chippewas. She had previously made one-year stops at Jacksonville (2024-25) and Mercer (2023-24) after finishing a three-year playing career at Tennessee as a two-time master’s graduate.
Walker aided Jacksonville (2024-25) to a 14-17 record, 8-10 in the Atlantic Sun Conference. The Dolphins fell in the first round of the ASUN tournament in overtime against Bellarmine. Under Head Coach Special Jennings, Walker helped Jacksonville to a three-game improvement over Jennings’s first season with the program.
At Mercer (2023-24), Walker oversaw guard/point guard development and coached three all-conference guards, which included one all-conference defensive award. She also headed the team's gear and equipment, and was a WBCA Convention Panelist for the presentation of So You Want To Be A Coach. She was one of three coaches selected as a panelist, with her focus on 'Being the Best Assistant Coach.'
In her playing career between Western Michigan (2017-20) and Tennessee (2020-23), Walker scored over 1,300 points with more than 700 rebounds and 400 assists.
At Tennessee, Walker started in 77 of 96 games played over her three seasons. She averaged 6.3 points, 4.1 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and 1.1 steals during her time in Knoxville. She also helped lead Tennessee to three NCAA Tournament appearances, twice making the Sweet Sixteen (2023, 2022).
At Western Michigan, Walker started in 54 of 64 games. She averaged 11.8 points, 4.9 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.8 steals per game. She scored in double figures in 38 of her 64 games and posted three double doubles during her time at WMU. She also had 12 games of 20 or more points and two 30+ point games.
Walker grew up in Muskegon, Michigan where she had a highly successful high school career including being named Miss Basketball in the state of Michigan in 2017. Walker graduated from WMU in 2020 with a bachelor's degree in political science and a minor in communications. She earned a master's degree from Tennessee in business administration (MBA) with a concentration in entrepreneurship and innovation in May of 2022.
She then earned her second master's degree in May of 2023 in the Agricultural Leadership, Education and Communications (ALEC) Department with a concentration on Name, Image, and Likeness and Women's Leadership. Walker was also an active participant in leadership programs such as So You Want To Be A Coach and the inaugural Above The Rim Summit.
