Joshua Trammell began his first year as Central Michigan's men's basketball athletic trainer in July 2025.
Trammell joins the Central Michigan Athletic Department after spending the past two years at Pittsburg State (Kansas) as its Assistant Performance Coach for men's and women's basketball. Trammell was directly responsible for the design and implementation of training programs for both basketball teams and the track and field program.
A 2023 graduate of the University of Oregon with a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Physiology, Trammell earned a Master of Science degree in Human Performance and Recreation from Pitt State in 2024.
While at Oregon, Trammell served as a strength and conditioning intern, where he worked closely with the lacrosse, acrobatics, and men's and women's basketball teams. He also spent some time with the football program.
He is a certified strenght and conditioning specialist.
