Kelly Berryhill joined the CMU Athletics team in the fall of 2022 and serves as its associate athletic director for major gifts.
Â
In this role, Berryhill oversees the Chippewa Athletic Fund and works closely with alumni, donors, and friends of the university to secure gifts that support its student-athletes and athletic programs. Berryhill also serves on both the Athletic Director’s Executive Leadership and Senior Leadership Teams.

Prior to this role, Berryhill joined Central Michigan University in 2012 and worked as a development and events coordinator for Special Olympics Michigan. In 2018, she transitioned to the CMU Advancement Department as the director of stewardship and donor relations, where she was responsible for stewarding and maintaining relationships with donors.

Berryhill holds a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from Central Michigan University.

Berryhill and her husband Denny have three children including Samantha (Hayden) Huber, Natalie, and Colby, and a granddaughter Karter Huber. Five of these family members are CMU graduates.
