Makenna Huhn returned to Central Michigan Lacrosse for a part-time role as an assistant coach on the inaugural staff of Head Coach Joseph Manna in September 2026.

Student-Athlete Bio

Huhn will be aiding the Chippewas in the draw circle while she pursues her medical doctorate through CMU, earning the nickname, Dr. Draw, upon her return. She graduated from CMU with her bachelor’s in neuroscience in 2024.

The Parker, Colo.-native was an influential piece to the Mid-American Conference Championships earned by CMU Lacrosse from 2022-24, her sophomore through senior seasons.

Huhn ranked fifth in career draw controls when she graduated and became the fourth player in program history to record a double-digit outing in draw controls—the first, and still only ahead of the 2027 season, to do so in a postseason game—in the 2024 conference semifinal.
