Nate Sommers serves as Central Michigan baseball’s director of video and analytics, a post to which he was appointed to in January 2025.
Sommers joined the program in September 2024 and served one season as a member of the student manager staff.
As the director of video & analytics, Sommers is primarily responsible for all film and video work within the program, including all gameday and practice video editing and charting, scouting report video and analytical breakdown, and all data within Trackman, Synergy, and 643. He also assists at all practices and camps.
Sommers, a Grandville High School graduate, is working towards a bachelor’s degree with a major in sports management at CMU.
