One of the top golfers in Chippewa history... earned All-America honors in 1970 when he finished sixth in the nation... led CMU to a third-place finish in the 1970 NCAA college finals... medaled in the 1970 conference meet won by CMU... his third-place finish helped CMU win the 1969 team title... a four-year letterwinner... served as a club professional for many years in the Mid-Michigan area... played briefly on PGA Tour in 1977... finished second in the Michigan Open and Michigan PGA.
