Won nine letters at Central from 1920-25, including four in football, three in basketball and two in baseball ... never missed a play in four football seasons ... helped organize the first Homecoming football game ... first athlete to compete in four sports (he ran track but it wasn't a recognized sport then) ... former president of the Varsity Club ... held school high jump record until Jack Cline broke it ... also set javelin mark ... became head basketball (11 years) and baseball coach (12) at Central following graduation, and also served as school's first gymnastics coach ... product of Cadillac High ... founded and owned Lodewyk Insurance Agency in Bay City.
