Outstanding Chippewa baseball player who made first-team All-Mid-American Conference three straight seasons from 1973-75 ... led the MAC in batting in 1973 and '74 and served as the team captain in '75 ... Terry started his collegiate career in 1973 with hits in 17 straight games ... honorable mention All-American in 1973 and '74, and played for the gold-medal winning USA baseball team at the World Games in '73 ... when he left Central, Terry held career records for hits, doubles, home runs, extra basehits, total bases and batting average, and was second in RBI ... played three seasons in the Detroit Tigers organization ... has remained active in baseball as a youth coach ... a product of Mt. Pleasant High.
