Men's Cross Country Competes At Pre-National Meet

AMES, Iowa--The Central Michigan University men's cross country team took 37th place out of 53 teams at the Pre-National Invitational held on Saturday at Iowa State University.
Colorado won the meet with 64 points, Northern Arizona was second with 215, Stanford took third with 255, Brigham Young finished fourth with 310 while the Chippewas were 37th with 865 points.
The Chippewas' top runner was Luke Humphrey who took 66th in a time 32:05.
Other competitors for CMU included Rick Bauer who finished 141st (32:40), Pete Remien who was 170th (32:53), Jason Jaloszynski who was 233rd (33:28), Jared Biniecki who took 282nd (34:03) and Jeff Davis who took 335th (35:13).Central is off until competing at the MAC Championships on Oct. 28.
