Two Women's Soccer Players Named All-MAC

MOUNT PLEASANT--Two Central Michigan University women's soccer players earned All-Mid-American Conerence honors for the 2000 season.

Kjersten Kuhlman (St. Louis, MO/Jr.) and Allison Campbell (Livonia/Jr.) earned second team All-MAC accolades.

Kuhlman earned the honor for the second straight season. Kuhlman was a mainstay at midfield for CMU and posted one goal, three assists for five points.

Campbell transferred from Tennessee at the start of the 2000 season. She had an immediate impact on the Chippewas as she led the team in goals (10), assists (eight), points (28) and shots (60). Her assists, points and shots totals were all CMU season records.

Buffalo's Jean-A Tassy was named the MAC "Coach of the Year" while Eastern Michigan's Tracy Deeter was the MAC "Player of the Year" and Marshall's Amanda McMahon the MAC "Newcomer of the Year."
