Humphrey Named Junior All-American

MOUNT PLEASANT--Central Michigan University men's track and cross country athlete Luke Humphrey earned Junior National All-American honors for his performance at the Junior National Track Meet last summer.
Humphrey claimed third place in the 10,000m to garner the honor. He was one of 298 athletes to receive the award.
All-American accolades are bestowed upon the top-eight finishers in an event. To participate in the Junior Nationals, the qualifier must be under the age of 20 the year of competition.
Humphrey recently shined for the CMU men's cross country team when he was the Chippewas' top finished at the Mid-American Conference Championships. He was sixth in a time of 24:41.
