Women's Soccer Earns National Ranking

MOUNT PLEASANT -
Central Michigan University's incoming women's soccer recruiting class has been ranked among the nation's best by Soccer Buzz magazine.
The Chippewas were ranked 45th in the nation and 10th in the Great Lakes Region. Central was the only Mid-American Conference team ranked in the top-50 nationally.
North Carolina, Stanford and Florida were the top national picks while Notre Dame, Michigan, Indiana, Ohio State and Northwestern were tops in the Great Lakes Region.
"We're excited to receive some national recognition," said head coach Mark Salisbury. "We always knew it was a good group of athletes and it is nice to see that others recognize it."
