Chippewas Fall To Dayton In OT

DAYTON, OH - The Central Michigan University women's soccer team (4-2-1 overall) dropped a 1-0 overtime heartbreaker to Dayton on Friday night.

After playing 90 scorelesss minutes, Dayton's Bridget Bushman scored just into the overtime (90:38) to give the Flyers the win. Dayton's Stephanie Weisenfeld held the Chippewas off the scoreboard while making three saves. Chippewa goalie Beth Quiney (Milford/So.) made four saves and gave up one goal.

CMU takes on IUPU-Indianapolis on Sunday, Sept. 19, at noon.
