MEASURING STICK--"I thought this weekend was a good indicator of where this program is," said head coach Mark Salisbury. "We wanted our non-conference to be a test of what kind of team we are. The loss to Michigan State and the win over Valpo showed that we have a lot of good qualities but we still need some work."
WHEN THE GOIN' GETS TOUGH--"The Purdue Boilermaker Challenge Cup is going to feature some top-notch teams," Salisbury said. "It's going to be a difficult weekend. However, we feel that we have a competitive team and it's time we increase our intensity. It's going to be good competition and that's what we are looking for to prep us for our conference matches."
