Horvath Earns MAC Honor

MOUNT PLEASANT - Central Michigan University sophomore right-hander Dan Horvath (Allen Park) was named the "Pitcher of the Week" by the Mid-American Conference (MAC) for the West Division.
The 6-4, 210-pounder tossed a four-hitter in the Chippewas' 4-0 win over Western Michigan. He fanned 10 batters and walked just one.
Horvath also saw action in two other games, allowing two earned runs in four innings while striking out five batters and walking one.
