BGSU head coach Urban Meyer
"I have been lucky to be involved in a lot of great wins in my career, but this may be the best team win that I've ever been a part of. I think that we played outstanding. We scored 45 points against a great team."
"I kept telling the coaches in the booth to get the ball to Josh Harris. When a guy like Josh comes to the sideline and says to give him the ball, it doesn't take a smart coach to give him the ball.
"I thought that the blocked punts were what won the game for us. They changed the momentum at critical points in the game."
"Central has a good team, it has a good program, and a great atmosphere at its stadium."
CMU head coach Mike DeBord
"The blocked punts really killed us today. When we came into this game, we had things that we wanted to and that we didn't want to do. And, on special teams, blocked kicks is what we wanted to prevent the most.If we look at those two plays, that was the difference in the game."
"I've said all along that this team has a great attitude, and never hangs its head at any point in a game. When we were down, 31-7, we just kept fighting, and that is attributed to our senior leadership."
"Bowling Green puts so much pressure on you offensively. One of our big goals today was that we did not want to give up any big plays. For the most part, I thought we were able to do that. Our secondary has began to mesh and I think today was our best game yet. Josh Harris is such a dangerous threat that it is almost impossible to contain a player like that. Today, we struggled to contain him."
