Meg Lewis Named To Senior All-Star Team

Mount Pleasant -- Central Michigan University field hockey player Meg Lewis (Pittsford, N.Y.) was named to the 2002 National Field Hockey Coaches Association Division I North/South senior all-star team today.
The senior co-captain will take the field as a midfielder for the South squad.
The game will be played on Saturday, November 23, at 7:30 p.m., on the campus of the University of Louisville.
Lewis is second on the Chippewas with 13 points this season. She has tallied a career-high six goals and an assist this season.
The Mendon High graduate has helped lead an offensive explosion for CMU this season which has led to a 12-4 record. The Chippewas are ranked 17th nationally and sit on top of the Mid-American Conference standings with four games remaining.
Meg is an elementary education major and holds a 3.32 cumulative grade point average.
Meg Lewis and the Chippewas return to action today, October 25, at home against Louisville at 2 p.m. CMU will then welcome the Miami Redhawks to town on Sunday, October 27, at noon.
