Grubb Tabbed MAC Player Of The Week

MOUNT PLEASANT -- Central Michigan University outfielder Tommy Grubb (Wheatley, Ont./Grand Rapids CC) was named the Mid-American Conference West Division "Player of the Week."

The junior was named to the all-tournament team at the Stetson Invitational after hitting .600 (15-for-25) last week with eight RBI and seven runs scored. He also had a pair of doubles. Grubb drove in three runs in the team's final game with Penn State, helping the Chippewas close the tournament with a 4-2 record. The lone losses were to host Stetson.
