Notes: *CMU receivers Scott Gibson caught his first collegiate catch and Jovan Witherspoon made his first catch as a Chippewa.

*Defensive back Orlando Walton (CMU) collected his first interception.

*Eastern Kentucky's total offensive output of 614 yards (218 rushing, 396 passing) set a Kelly/Shorts Stadium record. The old record was 595 yards versus UNLV in 1994.

*CMU's 42 points combined with Eastern Kentucky's 41 tied a stadium record for most combined points (83). The mark ties the 1986 mark from when CMU beat Ohio, 56-27.

*Isaac Brown's first collegiate game saw him gallop for 25 yards on six carries, his longest was a 16-yard run.
