Maroon Cops Commanding 3-0 Lead

MOUNT PLEASANT - Sean Hoorelbeke's sacrifice fly in the bottom of the 10th gave the Maroon a 10-9 win over the Gray in Central Michigan University's annual fall baseball World Series here Sunday.
The Maroon now hold a 3-0 lead in the series.
Jeremy Crum had three hits and a sacrifice fly for the Maroon while Jim Geldhof had three hits and three RBI for the Gray.
Frank Pietrangelo was the winner, going the final two innings. Nathan Pung went the final three innings and absorbed the loss.
Ben Shultz started for the Maroon and went four innings. He gave up five hits and two runs, one earned, while walking four and whiffing two.
Josh Collmentor started for the Gray and went four innings and gave up just two hits. However, he was touched for five unearned runs after walking three and striking out four.
Game four is set for Monday at 3 p.m.
