MOUNT PLEASANT -- Central Michigan University senior third baseman Jim Geldhof has been named second team preseason All-American by the National Collegiate Baseball Writer's Association.
The 6-1, 210-pounder from Troy High is coming off a banner 2004 when he hit .427 with nine homers and 68 RBI.
A first team All-Mid-American Conference selection in 2004, Geldhof was a second team All-American choice in `04 by collegebaseballinsider.com.
