Chippewa Season-Opener Snowed Out

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. -- The snow followed Central Michigan University's baseball team here Friday, postponing the start of the 2004 season one day.
The Chippewas and East Tennessee State University (4-5), slated to play a single, nine-inning game today at 3 p.m., will play a doubleheader here on Saturday at 1 p.m.
The two schools then will finish the series on Sunday with one game at 1 p.m.
CMU head coach Steve Jaksa will go with senior Jeff Opalewski and freshman Jayson Ruhlman as starting hurlers on Saturday.
