Former Chippewa Earns Prize Money at Chicago Marathon

CHICAGO, Ill. -- Former Central Michigan University runner Luke Humphrey placed 18th overall at The LaSalle Bank Chicago Marathon last Sunday.
He ran the 26.2-mile course in 2:20:20. Humphrey was the fourth American and that finish earned him a $7,000 prize purse. He is currently running for the Hansons-Brooks Distance Project team.
Kenya's Felix Limo won the marathon with a time of 2:07:04.
