Chippewas Switch Weekend Series to Youngstown State

MOUNT PLEASANT -- Central Michigan University's baseball team has switched its weekend series with Youngstown State University to Youngstown, Ohio.
The three games were originally slated for Theunissen Stadium here but snow on the field prevents the games from being played.
The two teams are slated to play a doubleheader on Saturday and a single game on Sunday.
Today's scheduled game at Wayne State has been canceled because of snow.
The Chippewas will open their home season, weather and conditions permitting, on Tuesday, March 29 against Wayne State at 3 p.m.. The game was originally scheduled for March 23.
CMU, 11-6 for the season, is slated to host Oakland University on Wednesday, March 30, at 3 p.m.
