Women's Soccer Plays Final Spring Matches on Saturday

MOUNT PLEASANT – The Central Michigan University women’s soccer team will wrap up its spring schedule with a pair of matches this Saturday, April 14, at the Border Challenge Showcase in Sylvania, Ohio.
CMU will face off against Mid-American Conference rival Toledo and Wright State. The match with Wright State will start at 12:30 p.m., with the contest against Toledo scheduled for 3 p.m. Both matches will be 60 minutes in length.
The Border Challenge Showcase will take place at Pacesetter Park, which is a sports turf facility in the city of Sylvania, near the Michigan and Ohio border north of Toledo. The facility features 29 soccer fields, along with baseball diamonds, lacrosse fields and an indoor fieldhouse.
A total of 14 NCAA Division I schools from Michigan and Ohio will play matches in the Showcase on Saturday. Participating schools are Akron, Bowling Green, Cleveland State, CMU, Detroit, Eastern Michigan, Kent State, Michigan, Michigan State, Oakland, Toledo, Western Michigan, Wright State and Xavier.
