Gold Wins Second Straight, 5-3 in 10 Innings

MOUNT PLEASANT -- Ricky Clark's RBI single for the Gold squad send game two of the Fall World Series Classic to extra innings and allowed Gold to come away with a 5-3 win in 10 innings at Theunissen Stadium on Saturday.
Nate Theunissen drove in the winning run on a fielder's choice in the top of the 10th.
Evan Morris picked up the win, retiring all four batters he faced. He followed Mike Nixon who also retired all four batters he faced to provide strong relief by Gold who take a 2-0 lead in the seven-game series.
Game three is scheduled for Sunday at 1 p.m. Jesse Hernandez (Maroon) will face freshman Rick Dodridge (Gold).
