Central Michigan’s indoor athletic facilities cover more than 500,000 square feet, including the multimillion-dollar Indoor Athletic Complex, completed in 1999. The facility features a 100-yard turf bay with eight batting cages, a 200-meter track bay with eight sprinting lanes and six running lanes. The indoor track also features two pole vault and two long jump pits. The facility is also home to a 7,500 square-foot strength and conditioning center. The nearby Student Activity Center features a 6, 800 square-foot weight fitness center, aquatic center and more. TO ENROLL 1. Request a brochure by clicking here 2. Checks should be made out to Central Michigan University (CMU) 3. Enroll On-line by clicking here REFUND POLICY There is a $50 non-refundable deposit on all camps. MEDICAL CARE AND CAMP CONDUCT Each camp participant must have received a physical examination within the year before attending camp and must be certified by his or her physician as physically able to participate in the sports camp. CMU will provide a fully qualified trainer during instruction times. Medical bills are the responsibility of the participant’s parent or guardian. CMU carries excess medical insurance with limits up to $2,000 per accident per participant, subject to a $500 deductible. This means the coverage is in excess of the participant’s own insurance, or in excess of a $500 deductible, whichever amount is greater. The deductible and any other medical expenses not covered by insurance are the responsibility of the participant’s parent or guardian. Campers must attend all sessions unless excused for medical reasons. Campers who do not follow conduct rules for camp will be dismissed without a fee refund. Use of drugs or alcohol is prohibited. CMU reserves the right to cancel any of its sports camps up to one month before the starting date of the camp. If you cancel within 72 hours of the first day of camp you will receive the balance of your account minus the $50 non-refundable deposit. If you cancel after the 72 hour window, you will receive half the balance of your account if more than the $50 non-refundable deposit was made. All cancellation requests must be made in writing and submitted to the camp office by e-mail, fax or mail (post-marked date will be used for all mailed requests). No refund requests will be accepted after August 15, 2008
